The Hearth:
A Somatic Practice Community
The Hearth
The Hearth is a weekly practice group rooted in somatic attachment therapy and eco-spiritual embodiment.
Together, we move beyond clinical articulations of the nervous system to experience its true purpose: rhythming us into aliveness and belonging in our living world.

This is a gentle, curious, and courageous space for all genders and levels of experience to explore the wisdom that spirals out from our bodies, and into the worlds we shape together.

Next 4-week cohort begins: November 5th from 7-8:30pm.
See below for more details.

Breathe / Move / Learn / Feel / Play / Return - around the Hearth.

There is an ancestral memory in all of us that, if given the opportunity, can renew our kinship to the Circle of all Life
Pegi Eyers

class ethos.
We live in rhythmic bodies in a living world - our very nature is cyclical. What we call "traumas" are the places where our body's innate and rhythmic healing capacities were interrupted, and we became "stuck" in cyclical survival loops.

Through my practice as a birthworker, rhythmic movement for trauma specialist, somatic psychotherapist, and bodyworker, I have found that moving, breathing, feeling, and living cyclically can restore the innate and rhythmic healing capacities of our bodies. Here, the solution to our disconnection lies within the wisdom of those cycles we get stuck in.
Hearth offers gentle practices aimed at meeting our "loops" with tenderness, drawing on the support of the rhythmic allies already built into our systems - breath, movement, sound, ritual, and relational cycles of reaching and softening into safety.

With curiosity, compassion, playfulness (and a little bit of time travel), we can gently restore connection by reminding the body of its innate capacity to heal. Here, we return together to what are bodies already know - that rhythm restores aliveness.
